Hand eating ( he prefers 'handS eating' of course if he could)

He hasn't learned how to control his hands yet.
Sometimes his fingers go into his eyes; fortunately only once he didn't like it which i am assuming that was the only time he hurt himself.
He has started to eat his hand. it is more the whole fist rather than fingers but there are occasional finger eating as well. And today a funny thing happened. He was eating his fingers when the fingers went too much into his throat and he made that face of the person trowing up for a second :)

swaddling

He loves to be swaddled.
sometimes when i am getting him ready to wrap, he puts his arms on his sides very still and waiting to be wrapped. Right now he is sleeping in my arm and i am holding one of his arms straight. Guess what is he doing with the other one? he puts it straight himself.

early bird

I think he is a morning person. Even though he sleeps at 9pm and wakes up at 12, the time that he smiles the most and is playful is around 7 am.

Something New

He did something today that he liked: he farted in the bath :)

Likes & dislikes

He likes:

• Light
• Music ( Certain songs like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7glscafechs i still have to figure out what type of song he likes - for now he likes the persian songs made for kids )
• His pacifier
• Lying down on kitchen counter top
• Ceilings
• CFL energy saver bulbs
• To stretch
• Bath
• Clock ( he is laughing a lot when looking at it)
• Talking to him
• Laugh with him
• showing him your tong like making lalalala sound

He dislike:

• Formula
• Not seeing anyone around him for even few sec ( this makes it really difficult to drive)

schedule

I changed his feeding schedule from every three hours to two hours thinking he likes it better. But of course he likes to eat all the times. Now at night he wakes up every two hours vs three to four hours with prev schedule . This makes him fuzzy. We are going back to old and better plan :)

Previously

8/8:

• He was on my lap the whole day today ( sleep or awake)

8/7:

• We went to washroom together. I have to do everything with one hand now :)
• We did cooking together ( he sat in the carrier and was a good boy the whole time)
• He had his longest nap of the day in the crib - 40 min ( of course he had that before too but he was always in my hold)
• First time in the stroller. we went to target bought diaper and he slept through

8/6:

• First day in the crib. He likes it :)
• He burped while lying down. this is really good, i hope he is learning how to burp otherwise it is a bit difficult for him and he cries until he burbs

7/31:

• I could see that he has grown after i put him in the carrier in front of me during the shopping. He used to fall sleep since he was surrounded by the bag but this time he was looking around the whole time

7/30:

• First and last time to try formula. He was spitting it out and disliked it. After that for the whole day he was trying everything that goes to his mouth a bit before continuing to suck :)

First Kick

Today is 2/4 and my little guy has started kicking. He was kicking a bit earlier but it is so gentle and happend randomly and rarly that it was not much noticable.

Today i was driving to work and i felt a bit sad and thats when he moved. I touched the lower part of my stomach and said "azizam" and he moved again. Everytime i did that he kicked :) yay.
And now i am sitting at my desk in the office and he keeps doing that. It feels really good. Thanks. I love you.

Start

I havent got a chance to write much during my pregnancy and even now i have only few events written. But desided to write a bit so that he can read them later and know about these times.
He is 7 weeks old now and getting better and better looking as time passes :)
